Types of Music in our library

Music from the 1940’s

Our musical library starts in the year 1940. Now most people attribute the big band sound to this era. This was also the era of great singers such as  Perry Como,Julie London,Sarah Vaughn, Vaughn Monroe, and The Andrew sisters just to name a few. We have songs by these artists and many more from this time period.

Music from the 1950’s and 60’s

We also have a large array of music from the 1950's and 60's especially the Doo Wop sound of these era's. The previous owner of Soundtrack Music Mr.Steve Menna had a vast Knowledge of this music due to his radio show and love of the music from this era. His clients came to expect this kind of music so I made sure that when the company transitioned I also was able to put on a similar show if need be.

Music from the 1970’s and 80’s

We also have a wide variety of 70's and 80's music to keep the party going. If you'd like to travel back to the 70's with polyester and disco's then we have the music that can take you there. If you also like the bright colors and funky hairdos of the 80's then we can do that also.

Music from the 90’s till today

Our last types of music takes us from 1990 up till present day. Our new music is supplied by Promo only a supplier of music to the radio and entertainment industry. We have all of today's top radio hits on hand to make your party fun.  

We due caution you that due to foul lyrics we will not play a lot of the rap songs that are out. We due have the edited versions,but have found that even edited songs have a bad moral message and a lot of schools frown upon this and unless these songs are approved by the school leadership are not played at any of our school dances. This also goes for our regular party functions as well.

Specialty Music

We also have a small collection of reggae,country old and new, and some irish music. We due not specialize in these types of music,but we have a scattering of hits by most artists for anyone in the crowd who might like this type of music.

We due have a good variety of Italian music. Since a lot of our crowds were of Italian descent it was important to have this type of music on hand.
